She won the Goya for The Good Boss, only the third woman to do so in this category.
She studied at the Madrid Conservatory and at Berklee in Boston. Her first feature was Pradolongo (2008); she went on to work in Galician cinema, on titles such as A Esmorga, and on the documentary Sad Hill Unearthed. Fernando León de Aranoa's The Good Boss won her the Goya in 2022.
