Ramin Djawadi
The man behind the Game of Thrones theme, which won him two Emmys.
The son of an Iranian father and a German mother, he studied at Berklee and started in Hans Zimmer's studio. Iron Man opened the door to action films in 2008. Game of Thrones made him famous worldwide: its main title is one of the most recognisable TV tunes of this century. Westworld and House of the Dragon followed.
