Clint Mansell

He was singer and multi-instrumentalist in the band Pop Will Eat Itself. When they split, Darren Aronofsky hired him to score Pi (1998), and he has done almost all his films since. Lux Aeterna, from Requiem for a Dream, has been used in trailers and adverts until it became one of the best-known film pieces of this century. He was Golden Globe-nominated for The Fountain.
